lessons

The Initial Lesson

  • 10 minutes before lesson - Student checks in, receives a bucket of balls and warms up.

  • First 10 minutes - Instructor introduces him/her self and conducts the initial interview. (Student's history in the game, any physical problems and what is currently happening.)

  • Next 15 minutes - Student hits some shots and instructor determines the errors in ball flight. Instructor and student proceed to the video room and film a few swings. Instructor reviews video exploring the good and the errors of the swing that is causing the ball flight witnessed outside.

  • Next 10-15 minutes - The instructor explains the changes and why, gives some initial drills to feel the new changes. The initial swings after the changes will be made in front of the camera. The instructor will show the student the changes and then proceed back outside to see the changes in ball flight.

  • Next 15- 20 minutes - Instructor continues to emphasize the changes and work the drills and positions to continue the improvement. Time permitting, you may video a few more swings and compare the differences.

  • Summary - Between the instructor and student reviewing the lesson and the plan for practice and the next lesson.
